Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Gangtok
Pickup from NJP / Bagdogra / Siliguri
Scenic drive to Gangtok (4–5 hours)
Check-in at hotel and rest
Short walk to MG Marg, Tashi View Point, or Ganesh Tok (optional)
Evening briefing for Silk Route travel permits and altitude prep
Overnight stay in Gangtok
Day 2
Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir + Nathula Pass / Kyongnosla Trek
Early departure for high-altitude adventure
Tsomgo Lake (12,310 ft) – Optional yak rides or ropeway
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – Spiritual and historical stop
Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability) – Indo-China border visit
Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary Walk – Optional short trek (~1.5 km) to explore alpine flora and birds
Evening return to Gangtok

Day 3
Gangtok to Zuluk via Old Silk Route – High-Altitude Thrill Drive
Early morning departure for East Sikkim’s Silk Route loop
Drive via:
Lingtham Monastery
Padamchen – Misty pine-covered village
Zig-Zag Roads of Zuluk (Zuluk Loops) – 32 hairpin bends with thrilling views
Visit Thambi Viewpoint (11,200 ft) – Incredible view of snow-capped Kanchenjunga
Explore Zuluk War Memorial and offbeat bunkers from the Indo-China conflict
Arrival and acclimatization at Nathang Valley (or stay in Zuluk for lower altitude)
Overnight stay in Nathang Valley / Zuluk
Day 4
Nathang Valley Hike + Kupup + Tukla + Eagle’s Nest Bunker
Short hikes around Nathang – High-altitude meadows, yak herding trails
Visit:
Kupup Lake (Elephant Lake)
Tukla Valley – War memorial and abandoned army camps
Eagle’s Nest Bunker – Highest viewpoint in East Sikkim (~13,500 ft)

Day 5
Return via Aritar – Lake, Monastery & Departure
Early morning drive to Aritar
Visit:
Lampokhari Lake – Paddle boating available
Aritar Monastery – Historical gompa with wall murals
Optional walk to Mankhim Viewpoint
Continue to NJP / Bagdogra via Rongli
