Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Pelling
Pickup from NJP / Bagdogra / Siliguri (6 hrs)
Drive through forests, waterfalls, and river gorges
Check-in at mountain view lodge or guesthouse in Pelling
Overnight stay in Pelling
Day 2
Pelling Adventure Highlights + Waterfall Hike
Early morning walk to Sangacholing Monastery
Pemayangtse Monastery
Rabdentse Ruins – short jungle hike with panoramic views
Kanchenjunga Waterfalls – short climb to second level
Rimbi Rock Garden & River Walk – quiet riverside path
Optional cliff walk at Chenrezig Skywalk
Overnight stay in Pelling
Day 3
Pelling to Yuksom – Forest Drive + Dubdi Monastery Hike
Depart for Yuksom – historic first capital of Sikkim
Check-in at trekker's lodge or homestay
Dubdi Monastery Hike – 3 km forested uphill trail
Kathok Lake + Coronation Throne – peaceful spiritual site
Optional: Evening campfire or gear check for next day’s trek
Overnight stay in Yuksom
Day 4
Dzongri Trek (Optional 1N Camping Trek or Day Hike)
Option A – Full Dzongri Trek (2N/3D, Extra Days Required):
Begin 2-night trek to Dzongri Top (12,980 ft) via Sachen, Tshoka
Camping gear, permits, and guide required
Best for serious trekkers
Option B – Day Trek to Sachen / Tshoka:
Start early and trek to Sachen (8 km round trip)
Trail passes via hanging bridges, dense forest, waterfalls
Packed lunch and guide included
Return to Yuksom by evening
Overnight stay in Yuksom
Day 5
Yuksom to Uttarey – Offbeat Village & Ridge Hikes
Drive to Uttarey
En route visit:
Singshore Suspension Bridge – Sikkim’s highest
Dentam Alpine Cheese Factory – optional stop
Trekking Base Camp
Tenzing Hillary Park
Light hikes to Mainba Village and local monastery
Optional: Sunset view ridge walk or cultural evening
Overnight stay in Uttarey (Homestay or Trekker Lodge)
Day 6
Departure via Geyzing / Jorethang to NJP/Bagdogra
Breakfast and drive back
